Not just a driver's license - a vocation

Class B Car

For passenger cars with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3.5 metric tons and up to 8 passenger seats plus the driver

With a Class B driver’s license, you may drive passenger cars and other motor vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg that are designed to carry up to eight passengers in addition to the driver. This makes Class B the standard driver’s license for everyday life, education, work, and leisure.

At Leewe Driving School, you’ll not only learn the basics for the test, but also how to drive safely in real-world traffic: pulling away, turning, parking, driving on country roads, in city traffic, on the highway, and handling difficult traffic situations.

Who is Class B suitable for?

Class B is the classic first step toward independent mobility. You’ll learn how to drive a car safely, assess traffic situations correctly, and prepare step by step for the practical test.
With supervised driving starting at age 17, you can gain driving experience even before your 18th birthday. After passing your test, you’ll initially drive with registered supervisors, which will help you become more confident on the road. BF17 is a great way, especially for new drivers, to build up experience and avoid having to handle difficult situations on their own right away.
Whether it’s your commute, school, family, or leisure time: With a driver’s license, you’ll have more independence on the road and much more flexibility in your daily life.

Here's How Your Class B Training Works

Your training consists of theory lessons, practical driving lessons, and targeted preparation for the exams. We explain the material in a way that’s easy to understand, guide you through the learning process, and tailor the practical training to your progress.

It’s not just about getting to the test as quickly as possible. What matters most is that you learn to drive safely, attentively, and independently.

You won’t just learn in theory classes—you’ll also receive digital support. With the Vranky app, you can prepare for the theory exam on your own schedule, practice questions, and keep track of your progress. That way, you’ll always know where you stand and which topics you still need to study more thoroughly.

During your driving lessons, you’ll practice all the important situations: pulling away, shifting gears or driving an automatic, turning, parking, city driving, country roads, highways, and night driving.

Before the practical exam, we’ll go over the relevant procedures and typical exam scenarios with you. That way, you’ll go into the exam prepared and feeling more confident.

B197

B197 – Automatic Transmission Test with Manual Shifting Skills

With a B197 license, you can take your road test in an automatic transmission vehicle and still be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle later on. To do this, you’ll gain additional driving experience in a manual transmission vehicle during your training and demonstrate your ability to shift gears. B197 is especially interesting if you want to learn to drive a modern, comfortable automatic car but want to keep your options open to drive cars with manual transmissions later on.

Details

The practical test is taken in an automatic transmission vehicle. This can make it easier to get started because you can focus more on traffic, where to look, and safe driving.

Thanks to the additional manual transmission training, you’ll still have the option to drive vehicles with manual transmissions later on.

Many modern vehicles are automatic. B197 is therefore a good fit for current vehicles while remaining flexible for manual transmission vehicles.

Here's how the B96 training works

According to the BMV, obtaining the B96 designation does not require a traditional driver’s license exam, but rather driver training. With us, you’ll learn how to drive safely with a trailer, maneuver, and better assess typical traffic situations. The goal is not only for you to obtain the formal license extension but also to feel truly confident driving your vehicle and trailer combination.
